Guild Housing in WoW

I just happen to be going over mmo-champion.com and there was a blue post about leveling guilds and so other stuff. Which made me start thinking about guild housing.  Not sure how many of you out there played DAOC (Dark Age of Camelot) but if you did, you undoubtedly had a house!  I am not even saying that they would have to have personal housing. But how about a zone where all the guild housing was!  I would love to have a mindbomb house that could be decorated with trophies or weapons or whatever we wanted. Have our guild vault there. All that jazz.  Just was on my mind and thought I would speak on it! Till next time.

Remote Auction House

June 12, 2010 Category: Blizzard Posts, Editorials0 Comments

So Blizzard announced the remote auction house.  I wonder how it will affect the economy in-game?  Initially I thought this would allow the farmers a way to get even more gold.  However, without mods like auctioneer to scan and analyze the AH, I would think that most serious AH’ers actually spend most of their time logged into the game and using analytical mods that allow them to manage their auctions.  I think this might actually cause a lot of bargins to start appearing.  How many idiots are going to be posting stuff with no knowledge of what the market price is?  I say, let the idiots waste their money (just like the purchase-able ‘exclusive’ mounts), and I’ll start scanning the AH and using mods to take advantage of the remote AH tool.

Balamar is back!!!

June 11, 2010 Category: Guild Announcements0 Comments

Balamar finally got back to Northrend!  After a few weeks of recovering from the attack on Mindbomb (see details below…it was terrible), Justin was able to level his paladin back up to level 73 where we all left off.  With this, we will be able to continue to build out MindBomb for the upcoming expansion and changes to the Raiding system. We are planning to build the guild out with roughly 10-15 people so that we can casually raid when we have enough people on.

That said, I’d like to welcome Male Tauren Druid Selyer (Brad), Male Tauren Druid Kolatd (Brad), Female Bloodelf Priest Lechery (Mario), and Male Troll Hunter Runatha (Sean) to the guild.  We’ve been gaming with these guys for years, and they have been through various games together with us.  They are a great addition to Mindbomb.

Our goal is to get everyone to have at least 2 different archetypes so that if we need something different, we can bring in an alt.

With that said, keep watching for changes to the site as I continue to update it for WoW, as well as changes to our roster and progression.  I’d like to test out our first Mindbomb 10-Man with ICC and then with Ruby Sanctum (and any other pre-launch events).

Welcome to MindBomb!

January 3, 2009 Category: Guild Announcements3 Comments

MindBomb is a World of Warcraft Horde guild on the Mannoroth server.

We are a casual guild, with the founding members having played various games together since the days of Doom over the modem.  The founding members, Male Orc Warrior Aegiss (John), Male Tauren Shaman Lupa (Jim), Male Tauren Druid Gordita (Josh), Male Bloodelf Paladin Balamar (Justin), Female Bloodelf Paladin Bubbleoseven (Ricky), and Male Undead Priest Ohfatty (Tom), have all been gaming together for many years.  Most of us went to highschool and middle school together.  Now we are getting older and starting families, but still love to game.

Mind Bomb deals 3 damage to each player. Each player may choose and discard up to three cards to prevent that amount of damage to him or her from Mind Bomb

Please feel free to apply using our online form.
